Didn’t have cups, or plates

We went here with our family in 2022 and it was amazing. Very beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. And our three-year-old had the best time playing on the beach and in the pool and chasing iguanas. We told our whole extended family about how awesome it was and booked a trip for all of us to stay there. Health issues got in the way and ultimately we had to cancel the trip. It was a large reservation and Fernando was INCREDIBLY helpful, understanding, patient and kind in making sure we were refunded. Evelyn was also such a help! We really appreciate their efforts and we will definitely be visiting Alma again!

Loved this property, everything went off without any problems. Will stay here again and would recommend to anyone. Shout out to Juan and Dillon for the excellent service and great attitudes. Pura Vida

I liked that it is Beautiful and clean, beachfront site. I didn't like the fact that there were no curtains for the all glass sliding door in the bedroom and the TV screen was smaller than expected.

Our stay at Alma Del Pacifico was ALMOST perfect. The hotel is beautiful, the beach access is perfect, the facilities and spa services were excellent, and eating meals looking at the ocean was magical. The kids had a blast in the pool and at the ocean all day. It is a stunning location that we loved. The food in the restaurant was decent enough to keep us from driving to other restaurants. Granted, we had been driving a lot around the country the previous nine days and did not want to be in the car any longer. The restaurant has an amazing view of the grounds and the ocean, which made up for any shortcomings in the food.

On Thanksgiving night my family was eating dinner at our usual table, enjoying a great time. For some reason there was a stray dog wandering around the restaurant. We had been there for four days at this point and ate every meal at this restaurant and no dogs had ever been there before. The staff seemed to know the dog and didn't do anything to get it out and stop it from begging for food all around the restaurant. The dog eventually made its way to my three year old daughter. We tried to get it away but it eventually made its way back to her without us knowing. Like any three year old would do, she tried to pet it. It decided to bite her instead of being petted. We got very lucky that the bite didn't break the skin and she was just bruised all around her arm. The staff couldn't have cared less. They kicked the dog out and kept acting like everything was fine while our daughter was crying about her hurt arm and asking "why did that dog bite me?" The manager, a bigger guy we had seen during our four days there, was in the restaurant having a big party with lots of guests. The one waiter that cared went to the manager and told him what had happened. He waved his hand nonchalantly and went about his gluttonous meal without a second thought. Perhaps the dog was the managers? We don't know because no help or explanation was given to us. Not a single apology was issued. It definitely soured our experience towards the restaurant staff.

This hotel is set in beautiful grounds overlooking the Pacific. You can walk for miles along unspoilt beach, relax in the shade of the palms and enjoy the chilled atmosphere. The ambiance is lively, with a nice balance of families and couples - all ages groups catered for. Happy hour and the lovely menu meant that we did not feel the need to stray, although there are some nice local shops 5 mins drive away for gifts and essentials. Special thanks to Freddy and Juanito for making us feel so welcome.

Some facilities looks old, the pillows were uncomfortable.

Amazing, beautiful design hotel on large very nice beach. We loved our stay here.. good breakfast… different pools.
