Apartmani Teo

We had a fantastic stay at Apartmani Teo! The accommodation was spotless, spacious, tastefully decorated, and had many amenities for a comfortable stay. Teo, the property owner, picked us up at the port and drove us to his apartment. Teo was a GREAT host and was very hospitable, comical, informative, and treated us to beer and a bottle of wine. We were blown away with his generosity.

The owner was very welcoming, even gave us a bottle of wine. He pointed us to great restaurants.

We enjoyed the place and the hospitality of our hosts. The location is great and close to all the sightseeing places, restaurants and grocery stores while being away from the nightlife.

We stayed at Teo’s for one night in the middle of July and thoroughly enjoyed Hvar and the accommodation. Teo is extremely accommodating and has a great knowledge of the island and was keen to point us in the right direction of things to do and where to eat. As we were only staying for 1 night we had to see what we could do but found time to eat at one of Teo’a suggestions for lunch which was lovely. The apartment room was nice and the space was cosy enough for two people. Great host and would definitely recommend.

Greeted by owner on arrival with a nice cold beer and given general information about the town of Hvar. After a long hot trip a condensed version wud have been more appropriate but was still informative and helpful.

Nice location on the hill right above main area of Hvar town, very friendly and great recommendations! Grandma’s cherry nip was very good!

Teo was great! Upon arrival he greeted and offered a choice of beer, wine, juice, water, etc. While sitting and drinking you can see why many other reviews have stated he is a gracious host. He genuinely loves Hvar and where he lives. If you want, he will give you a detailed overview of the area and will point out these areas on a map to help make it easy for you to explore. No complaints about the property or rooms as everything was represented fairly via the pictures provided on Hotels.com. Location wise, it sits on a hill right above the main area, so it is a bit of a trek with luggage if you want to get there, but he does offer to pick you up for check-in. If I ever had the chance to visit this area, I would stay here again.

We were greeted by our host Teo on our arrival. It was the most welcoming beginning to any stop on our vacation to Croatia. The apartment was not a studio but had separate bedroom and kitchen. Very well equipped and very comfortable. A private patio and free parking were also attached. Teo is the unofficial "Mayor of Hvar." Everyone seems to know him and loves to joke about him. His recommendations for restaurants and beaches were spectacular and they were not the most popular tourist venues. We ate two great dinners and drank the best wines from Hvar. Can't say enough about Apartmani Teo.

Teo welcomed us with a big smile and cold drinks when we arrived. He gave us a short overview of Hvar, what to see, where to eat... even what to eat. Excellent host and his apartment clean and comfortable. The only thing we regret: we should have stayed more than one night. Highly recommended.

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. The only issue to consider is that the property is a fairly long up/down hill walk away from the town center/harbor if you don't have a car. The immediate area is very nice but not near restaurants, etc. Otherwise an excellent place to stay for a reasonable price.
