"Wonderful Gion and the perfect introduction to Kyoto"

The traditional breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. I would recommend everyone have the breakfast at least once when staying here!

Sijainti oli erinomainen. Aamiainen oli runsas ja ruoka-allergiani huomioitiin tarkasti. Saimme hyvää palvelua ja apua matkalaukkujen lähettämisessä seuraavaan hotelliin.

Olisi ollut mukava, jos ryokanissa olisi ollut onsen.

It is a beautiful traditional Ryokan, and the stay was as expected. Our first with tatami, and I must say, this would not be the first time I stay here. Loved the staff, they were so helpful, and the ambience sets you back into the traditional Gion era... amazing

I think to try the breakfast once was enough. it was not for us
