Stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. Cute room on top floor/attic looking out at the fall colours (facing away from the water, but this was fine). Great dining experience (adventurously opted for the 5-course "discovery" menu), and one of the top 3 best breakfasts of my life the next morning. Highly recommend

Spa was poorly lit. Prohibitive fees. 100$ for food (I still haven't gotten back). 250$ damage deposit. Spa staff are unhelpful. In general- bad service staff.

CASpacious room, well appointed, very comfortable bed, situated in a separate building from the main hotel. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, our server was attentive, professional and very personable, making it a pleasant environment to enjoy the meal.
We felt that some of the furniture in the room was dated (i.e. the base of the bed was worn and marked), the fireplace in the wall was very poorly fitted - we could see the gyproc around the frame. Also there was very little water pressure in both sinks, making it a long wait for hot water and wringing out a face cloth. For the price we paid for the room, we expected better.
Very pleasant stay. They coped well with large parties. Friendly and efficient staff.
