Hotel Grand Continental Kuching

Not a very good stay. Out dated hotel...

Although the hotel kind of run down due to its aging, the three of us had a great time...room can be considered ok...however, although we booked a deluxe room with 3 single beds, during check in time, only 2 towels and 2 drinking water were there although we have clearly stated the no of pax....we had to change the kettle as it was dirty with some fungus in it.....

The Hotel is just 15mins to Kuching Airport . The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. It is located near the city and easily accessible by car. The staff are friendly and really professional. The hotel just 2Km from Kuching Waterfront. The rooms rate are reasonable. Recommendly to stay here.

I was really pleased with the service yhe staff provided. They were fast, efficient and friendly. Lots of compliments to the bellboy manager.. he was wonderful. The only downside was that it is an old building that needs a big make over. There was also no hot water. Just lightly warm during your shower. So most showers are pretty cold. And i also notice some molding on the ceiling. The ballroom toilets needs a major renovation too. And improve their cleanliness in that area.

Not up to its 3 star ranking at all. Condition of the hotel both exterior and interior of the room are bad. Not value for money.

Had to change rooms 4 times before getting room with air con and wifi. Staff were excellent in process. Swimming pool was disgustingly filthy and dangerous in terms of possible diseases. No towels were available. We would have changed hotels if not for front desk staff Shirley and door concierge Robert giving us such great service.

Our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast and other meals were very nice. It was far from food for us as we only eat halal as it was mostly a Chinese area.

Traffic noise makes it hard to sleep. Not able to connect to wifi easily. Breakfast good. Staff helpful. Convenient to city area.

Another grand hotel that's seen better days. Therefore the rooms are spacious and the price is reasonable. The staff were friendly. Only downside: I found it cheaper to eat, drink & do my laundry elsewhere...

Overall was great, but the room air conditioning adjuster was spoiled.
