JW Marriott Hotel Chandigarh

Stunning property Really well designed I booked the standard room but it felt like a suite. The bathrooms were gorgeous. The spa facilities and staff were amazing too.

Breakfast was not impressive for the scale of the brand. I expected a lot more from the breakfast area but the options and spread were basic. There was a lot of junior staff during breakfast and a lot of unprofessionalism displayed. The junior staff were standing in a circle and talking a lot instead of attending guests. The management must attend breakfast served at other competitive hotels in CHD to compare the differences.

Need to improve the communication

Extremely disappointing experience at JW Marriott Chandigarh. For a property carrying the Marriott and JW brand name, the service standards were honestly shocking. The biggest issue was the staff behavior. The attitude felt cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily arrogant throughout the interaction. Instead of making guests feel welcome, the approach felt transactional and uncomfortable. Hospitality is not just about a fancy lobby or expensive rooms — it is about how guests are treated. Sadly, this property seems to have forgotten that completely. What made the situation worse was the complete mishandling around the security deposit/tab process. At no point during check-in was I informed that I needed to place any amount on the room tab or maintain a security deposit for hotel services. Later, when I attempted to use facilities, I was bluntly told that I had “no security deposit” as if I was expected to magically know their internal process. A luxury hotel is supposed to guide guests professionally, not embarrass them for something their own staff failed to communicate. For the amount JW Marriott charges, the experience felt far below even basic hospitality standards. Poor communication, rude handling, and a complete lack of guest sensitivity. Definitely not the level of service expected from the Marriott brand.

Navjot was assigned for our room for house keeping. I found her handling her job well and was very courteous and helpful. Great asset for the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, and it has consistently met my expectations. Navjot provided excellent housekeeping service, ensuring that everything was cleaned thoroughly and maintained with exceptional attention to detail. She was courteous, professional, and respectful in all interactions. I greatly appreciate her hard work and dedication, and I am highly satisfied with the quality of her service.

Breakfast was just okay. Other hotels have a better one. A better spread.
