King's Rest Motel

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms need updating.

The bed was comfortable. The hotel is definitely older. No upgrades since construction. It has an evap cooler which did the job. It has a small fridge and microwave. No coffee machine in the room. There's free WiFi. The manager was very nice.

The motel did NOT honor my reservation.

Very good for the price. A bit outdated, but very clean and well kept. And Excellent service. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, and if I'm ever in the area I would stay here again.

Well run, rooms clean and comfortable. Right off Monterey Rd. Restaurants and shopping within a reasonable distance.

It is clean and friendly staff. It was a little too small but functionally enough. It is in a good location in center near grocery stores etc.

Manager was extremely friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. The room wasn't clean though, the water pressure in the shower was terrible. The tv worked, the fridge and microwave worked, so that was good. I was pleased to see that there were a lot of security cameras, that made me feel safer. Every other motel in the area was near triple the price so we booked here, you get what you pay for, and it was a good deal! Very nice staff though!

Booked a room with a queen bed. At check-in, the clerk (a barefoot man in pajamas with no robe) tells me I have been 'upgraded' to a room with two beds. Two double beds instead of a queen is not an upgrade. This is an old style roadside motel, very dated, but clean. The soap they provide is not as nice as many places I've stayed, but it gets the job done. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. The television would not work. The remote seemed fine as a red light appeared when the power button was pushed, but tv wouldn't come on. The ice machine requires quarters so be prepared for that.
