Triniti Hotel Batam

The hotel is located right across from a soccer court, which is in use 24/7, particularly during late hours between 10 pm to 3 am. Soccer competitions are held every night - players and spectators shout and yell all night long. This is in addition to lots of other noises caused by other hotel guests and staffs. It's impossible to get a good night sleep at this hotel. It's extremely hard to communicate with the hotel's staffs as they can barely speak English. The breakfast menus are so pathetic - don't expect a continental breakfast you normally get - there are no decent milk, bread, cheese, yogurt, cereal, juices. The hotel location is so far from the must-see sights.

Very bad. The keycard did not work 5 -6 times and each time it didn`t work, I had to come back down to the reception to get it replaced. The hotel stay are not trained propoerly & don`t know how to treat the guests properly. (Don`t know to anticipate the guests requirements).

i read and choose carefully before i decided to book triniti via hotels.com website. the forum is full of good comments and i am ever more excited to go batam this time round. when i reached the hotel, i realized my hotel room window is facing the main road with the curtains not thick enough to ensure privacy in the room. i feel very uncomfortable and unsecured as most of the times, people walked past your hotel room window. as i noted in website, they mentioned lcd tv but i am disappointed to see crt tv 21 inch. there is also no cupboard to hang you clothes decently. lastly, the breakfast is the most pathetic breakfast i had ever encountered in batam but luckily the taste is acceptable. last but not least, i can hear renovating sounds close to midnight on my first night. the service staffs are friendly and helpful though and the distance to negoya is near provided you know your way. my friend and i like the sauna and steam room too.

1) The floor is tiled and sticky so I have to wear slippers. 2) The bedsheet do smell alittle and matteress is not comfy when i checked in. 3) The walk towards to main road/ noyagohill maybe challenging for some. I think those who are on a budget can get more value for money deals elsewhere.

if you are going out at night or want to have a quick city tour , make sure you get from the reception a real taxi not a private car driven by localguy working as part time.

I only stayed here for a night. My check-in and checkout process was very smooth. Has lift to every floor. The room was big, very clean and simply furnished. The surrounding is quiet and no disturbance. If u are planning for a short stay and dont wish to spend too much than this is the perfect place to go.

If looking for a chaep place to sleep it is an acceptable place to stay

I must say that the services and quality of the room is simply way too good for the amt. I paid for! I expected something less as I booked the room at a really loW promotional price!! The room comes with cool air conditional, satelite tv, clean bathroom, 2 cosy beds and even a safe in the wardrobe! The wifi at the hotel atrium is really fast too. Its very close to the biggest mall in Batam as well Nagoya Hill shopping mall. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Batam:)
