Was on 3rd floor but requested to move - horrible odor in room Moved to 1st floor - a little better

Clean and nice. Helpful staff.

The bathrooms were dirty and tub and shower had many hairs on it. The whole hotel had a bad smell and was very dim. Maybe just outdated. It wasn’t the typical Holiday Inn experience.

ROACH IN ROOM! Didn’t want to stay at the other hotels in the area to ensure we had a nice room. Was going back and forth between here and Fairfield Inn. Definitely should’ve picked Fairfield!! Fairfield was immediately off the exit. This place was another 3 miles down the road. When I spoke to management about the 2 roaches we saw (one in the stairwell one on our ceiling!) they offered us $25 off the very overpriced $175 two queen room-not a suite-a standard not clean, rundown 2 queen room that smelled so muggy I could barely stand it. The only reason we actually stayed there is because it was midnight and my husband had been driving all day en route to Myrtle beach. He’s the one that spotted the roach and Didn’t tell Me about it but my kids told me about it the next morning!!

I was very disappointed. First off I was given the wrong nightly price in total with taxes and fees. I asked 3 different ways. Once to our room, the sink was stopped up would not empty water. The toilet had a ring in it, black dirt on the lid tub had been patched and the shower smelled like mold, as did the water. It was bad. We had a room that overlooked the pool. That was nice. I complained to the front desk. They did nothing. The manager in charge said she would need to talk to the owner and she would call me back That call never came. I also had a man show us pictures of their dirty bathroom. They should have paid us for staying THERE!!! I would not recommend this place due to the unsanitary conditions of the bathroom. I gave it a 2 because the hot breakfast was ok.

Overall the property was very dirty. The rooms were in poor condition. Definitely would recommend that you consider alternative accommodations if you are staying in the area.
