A lovely room with great staff. Made me and my friend feel very welcomed. A nice pub and great rooms. Comfortable beds, plenty of storage space for clothes and a great shower. Overall very good value for money and will most likely stay again when visiting the area!

Lovely old Inn in a beautiful setting...lovely old village with more pubs than houses! Lovely room with period features, complimentary continental breakfast, and friendly welcoming staff. !0 mins walk from the train station with direct 20 min connection to Marylebone made it a lovely change from a city centre chain hotel.

Lovely oldy worldy inn. Room was clean and spacious. Power shower was a bonus. Complementary breakfast (cereal and fruit), was a nice touch.

Enjoyable stay. Friendly welcome, taken swiftly to my room. Just the kind of property I like - quirky and with character. If you’re looking for a premier inn type experience this isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for an individually styled, comfortable independent hassle free stay this should fit the bill. I didn’t get the chance to use the pub or eat there but I’ll definitely stay again and will try. My room was on the top floor. Internet was very good and the shower in the bathroom was great, really good pressure which is always nice to have. Location had a lovely village feel, quiet but close to Uxbridge which for me was perfect. Good value too. No complaints from me!
