3rd stay at this property so knew the location and amenities. Love being able to smoke out on the patio area and find the rooms comfy…Easy parking right in front of the rooms..

The overall stay was very good, however the bathroom door doesn’t close to lock, this needs to be rectified (it didn’t affect us) but the door is opposite the main entrance door and many people may find it uncomfortable.

Fab location. Adequate for my needs. Price reasonable.

Downstairs rooms are semi basement and a bit cold and damp smelling.

The village is nice.

Black mould; unhoovered carpet and dirty cups and mugs; broken bed; pillows smelt of damp so had to put a jumper between my head and the pillows; the whole room, bed included, was on ground level so passersby could see everything you're doing with the blinds up and you could hear conversations right next to your bed; bathroom lino warped and uneven from the damp, I presume; carbon monoxide alarm for show, not working (I have the same model); said there was parking and only AFTER I booked and paid, told me it was "park anywhere" which after 6 hours of driving, trying to find a parking space in a tiny, unknown village is the last thing you want; paper thin walls so I could hear the man above me - his entire conversation, him peeing, what he was watching, waking me up at 6am the next morning; someone decided to start chipping rocks outside my window inexplicably around 9pm; I run an Airbnb so I know there's no excuse for half of this, you need to manage guest's expectations better and dirty, damp, noisy and no privacy or parking is unacceptable. I have found cheaper and cleaner places to stay, with parking. Photos available.
