"Exceptional"

Beautiful building in a great location. Greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room. Room was great, much more spacious than anticipated with everything we needed. There was lots of choice for breakfast, all freshly cooked to order and more than enough to keep you going until lunch. Would definitely recommend, and will be staying again when in the area.

Dinner, breakfast both excellent on both occasions we stayed, and all staff friendly, cheerful, efficient and helpful. We'd certainly choose to come again on future travels.

"Good stop off point near to the M5 particularly if you have dogs"

Travelling from Dorset to the North East it was a handy stop off near to the M5. With a pair of dogs (which were made very welcome) there was a good excercise area and we were very close to a canal with an easily accessible towpath. Room was fine, meal good value and exceptional real ales on handpull from the chains own brewery in Bristol
