Earnslaw Motel

Stayed 4 nights, location was handy to everything. Owners were great in taking us to train station and picking us up, much appreciated.

I phoned ahead and explained that i could check in untill 10.30 pm. No problem , we will wait for you. Great. And they did.

A basic motel with not many bells and whistles. Provided all you want is a roof over your head and a clean room, then the Earnslaw Motel will give you this for not a lot of money. It has television, though no pay channels, a small kitchen, and a basic bathroom. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable (neither too hard not too soft). Reasonable value for money. One drawback to note is that one can hear the traffic on Blenheim Road.

It is a good place very clean with excellent beds. The room is a little old fashion.

Chosen due to handiness to an event, did the job as it was just a place to lay our heads overnight.

Older style accommodation (ie. separate taps in bathroom basin and sink). Also our unit was the closest to busy Blenheim Road so traffic noise all night long. Beds comfortable.

We were staying 1 night and when we arrived were told that there was a double booking but we had been booked into the motel next door and any extra cost was on the motel owner PLUS we were given a free breakfast. The breakfast was superb with cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit salad and orange juice. So although we never got to stay at the Earnslaw the outstanding customer service was great. The motel we stayed at was also very good.

Not the most up to date accomodation you can stay at, but it was convenient and the staff was very accomodating with my situation, arriving past midnight. The water pressure in the shower was terrible though.

Room was clean comfortable and warm, good shower. Staff was helpful and friendly.
