Hotel Boutique Casa de la Palma

Well I have no plans to visit anywhere else if I were to visit this sane city. Let’s just say that

Not much happy here

The hotel is located 2 min walk from the central Cathedral, in the middle of the old town Puebla. The hotel is situated in a 18th-century building, with a wonderful sense of history the moment you enter it. The ceilings are tall, the walls are ancient, the decor is beautiful. The staff is very friendly. The place is very clean and well maintained.

I would like to have a better shower. I understand that it is not hotel-related and a widespread thing in Mexico (I traveled enough in Mexico to encounter it pretty much everywhere). The shower-head was delivering more of a spray rather than a stream of water. It took forever - literally close to 10 min - to warm the water from the hot-water nozzle, so we had to turn water and go do something else for a while, to be able to take a hot shower. But it's not that big of a deal, as long as you expect this kind of issue.

the bathroom was in poor repair, particularly leaky shower door which caused water to flood the floor into an open drain in front of the sink. Soap dish in shower was not screwed to wall properly.The hair dryer did not work. Towels were very worn. lamp beside bed did not work properly because of a broken cord, which was dangerous - the lamp was replaced however.

the room was very big. it had a balcony and plenty of natural light. there is no A.C or ventilator but when I asked in the reception they brought me one ventilator so I was completely comfortable. the location is very good. Just few minutes walk from the main squere. internet was strong and reliable. stuff was friendly and helpful

the bed was too high

Ubicación. Está pegado al zócalo y otros sitios de interés del centro de la ciudad.

No tiene elevador y los escalones son muy altos para llegar al segundo piso; muy difícil subir con equipaje. Las fotos en internet no concuerdan con las habitaciones. No pagaría más de 350 pesos mexicanos por noche. Decepcionante. Jamás volveré a hospedarme con ustedes.
