La ubicación es muy cercana al zócalo

No me gustó el estado de la habitación y los muebles más que rústicos se ven viejos y en mal estado. El baño y la regadera parecen armados para que cupieran en la habitación y son muy feos, las piernas quedan tan cerca de la puerta del wc que es peor que un baño compartido de un restaurante. Las camas no son nada cómodas, la colcha tenía cabellos, hace mucho calor en la habitación y no hay ventilador siquiera, no tiene ventana ya que solo está la puerta al balcón. La relación del precio con la habitación es pésima, no valió el precio.

I sought out this hotel for the reviews of comfortable beds. Two other hotels I tried in Puebla had very hard beds. I slept very well here in two different rooms. It was warm, but they gave us a fan. The fan was loud but I sleep with swimmer’s earplugs, and the sound did not bother my husband. We had immediate hot water and great water pressure in the king room with balcony. The water pressure was not as strong, and the hot water took longer in the Moroccan room. But it’s an old building, so if you want to be in the historic center at this price, this is normal. There was a coffee maker and bottled water in the rooms. We loved it, and will book here again, but not in May or in summer if rainy season is late because even a fan would not be enough.

Mexican buildings don’t usually have screens on the windows, but if we could open windows and keep mosquitoes out, we could bring in cooler air with the fan. Would love a mini-fridge in the rooms.

We absolutely loved it and will book here again. I do wish they had a fridge in the rooms. But they did have complimentary coffee and water.

I would not be able to stay here in May because there is no air conditioning. However, last May I chose a hotel in Centro Historico with air conditioning, and there was mold in it because of the moisture in these old buildings, so I had to move to a different hotel that had an awful bed.

Lovely old house converted to a hotel. The location is perfect.

La ubicación perfecta

Todo iba bien hasta que entramos al baño, la cafetera estaba ahí. Aparte el azulejo del suelo del área de WC y regadera roto y muy feo, nada agradable. Los enchufes mal también. . Bastante decepcionante el baño. Lo viejo y sucio no es vintage. En las especificaciones del hotel no informan que son escaleras no aptas para personas con problemas en las rodillas. Teníamos una experiencia agradable anteriormente, pero después de esta vez no regresaré. Le falta mucho mantenimiento.

Las cortinas no cubren las ventanas

La ubicacion, las camas son comodas, la atencion del personal. La limpieza. El cuarto muy amplio, con un concepto y un toque real a antiguo. Las cortinas, colchás, cuadros y muebles q dan ese toque, las personas de la recepción super amabales, solicite unos mapas de la cd. Y un ventilador y me lo llevaron al cuarto. Siempre atentos.

La primera impresion de todos no fue tan agradable, desde la recepción q da apariencia antigua y descuidada, hasta la habitacion q nos asignarón que estaba al fondo del hotel zona como muy antigua, el baño y la regadera muy pequeños salia un olor a caño, cubierta de puertas de madera con toque viejo , nos dio la impresion q por la noche nos iba a salir un fantasma, hacia calor y tuvimos q dejar la ventana de la terraza y el pasillo abierta, la terraza da a la calle y habia mucho movimiento de gente, no dormi tan bien,. Al dia siguiente al bañarnos la regadera con baja presion de agua, abres la caliente y si quieres regular se hace fria, yo me cambio en el baño siempre, el área de regadera muy pequeño e improvisado, no hay forma de colgar nada, no hay donde colgar la ropa asi q me tuve q cambiar en el pasillito q funge como vestidor. Algo raro, pero bueno, al dia sig. Mejor no me bañe. La primera impresión no fue buena, aunq no niego q al dia siguiente lo vimos mas relajados, no nos asustaron y terminamos disfrutando la estancia en el hotel.

El inmueble es un inmueble catalogado, tiene un tremendo potencial pero se nota una GRAN falta de inversión; la suite tiene motivos excelentes, pero hay cosas MUY descuidadas (baño y almohadas, sábanas, cortinas, colchas) hacen que se vea descuidado y feo. Una lástima pues el inmueble y las colecciones de antigüedades son excelentes.
