The Stonefence Resort

Room is comfortable. Very clean. Desk clerk friendly. Even had a yellow lab greet me.

Enjoyed our stay. Big comfortable room. Spent time just hanging out on the balcony watching the river traffic.

This was our second stay here as the first was great as well. The location is beautiful along the St Lawrence River east of Ogdensburg. The grounds are well kept and offer opportunities to enjoy the scenery of the surrounding area with out actually having to leave them. The included full continental breakfast offers much more than the typical continental with eggs prepared over easy or scrambled, sausage or bacon, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels etc. The coffee is good and is always kept hot and plentiful. We plan on booking here for a week in the near future to explore Northern NY and visit with friends and family more. We indeed love staying here!

Rooms were spacious and clean

The rooms felt like personal cabins. The property is beautiful with stunning views of the St Lawrence River. Staff was very friendly!! I will definitely recommend.

Wonderful staff helped me with a place to stay. Food service lady remembered me! Helped me figure out the coffee pot and house keeping brought extra towels 😄

The place was dirty and the free hot breakfast sucked
