Beautiful garden with pool. Lovely village.

Charging €4 for a bottle of water at dinner seemed a bit pricey when other establishments in the village provided free water with a meal. A Portuguese friend told us afterwards that water should be free on request. The ‘surprise menu’ was tasty but fairly expensive at €38.50. The cafe along the street does a fabulous all-in lunch for €10 which was well worth a visit.
