PROS Stupendous views all round Good pool and terrace with wonderful views Friendly and helpful staff Well sign posted from main road Good breakfast on covered terrace Underground car park on site CONS Very small room and bathroom ( lake view balcony room )and not much storage space. Set evening meal twice as expensive and half as good as we had been used to in Tuscany. No air con and noisy disco across lake; other guests said that this had been the same on most nights. Wifi not very reliable.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Rusall. It is perfectly located in the hills above the town; beautiful views and no traffic noise. Everything was great! The room, the food, the staff! We did not want to leave and would love to return.

We arrived late and departed early and the staff was very accommodating. The grounds were much prettier than described or shown in pictures. The area surrounding the Hotel is mostly residential and VERY quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely stunning view from the terrace. Worth every euro just to sit on the lawn overlooking lake comoand bellagio in the distance. Service fantastic and being family run they actually care about the guests. The evening meals are top notch.. The insalate is excellent. Cannot speak high enough of the Hotel Rusall.

The hotel is not new, but very clean and comfortable with a good location and fantastic view. The hosts are extremely nice, helpful and give you a feeling of being welcome and at home. And the food is very good. I can fully recommend this hotel to those who prefer a cosy and homely feel instead of top modern (cold) hotel.

Good location in a nice part of lake como. Hotel up hill away from bustle of main street with the best ever views of lake. Lovely pool and excelent facilities.

The rooms here and the pool area have a wonderful view of Lake Como, which is about a twenty minute walk from the hotel. The proprietors were helpful and friendly. The restaurant, however, was subpar, and there are few options in the immediate neighborhood.

We revisited the Rusall after a 4 years. Now they have a pool and expanded parking facilities which are a plus. This is a lovely family run hotel and restaurant the views are fantastic and the accommodations simple but very comfortable and extremely clean. We stayed in the newer "dependence" accommodation which although lacking the balcony view had air conditioning and the rooms are larger.
