Hotel Rusall

Nous avons bien apprécié cet hotel sympa et surtout bien situé pour sa vue sur le lac. Hotel familial où l'accueil est très chaleureux.

Great location but rooms are old, no AC and had a wasps nest outside our window so couldn't open balcony door.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Lage mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber nicht modern. Der Pool und der Tennisplatz waren toll. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen.

Terrible. I will never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone unless they loved picturesque views. The beds are extremely uncomfortable (old spring beds). There is no sound proofing, you can hear other guests snoring, scraping furniture, talking in their rooms plus the house keeping are very noisey at 8:30am they commence cleaning, vacuuming and chat to each other outside your door. The food was nice but if you eat lunch you have a good chance of being served left-overs from the buffet 2 nights prior. Yes, breakfast is included but I don't recommend eating it... coffee is dreadful, croissants are commercial packages and there is a chance you will not get fresh bread. Lastly, the view is amazing... if you don't care about all the above then stay here, you will certainly appreciate the view.

The location of this hotel is excellent because it's half way up the mountain and so the views are amazing. If you walk down to to the lake it takes about 15 minutes, nice and easy. Walking up is more like a hike and if you could get a taxi, I would recommend that. We stayed for 2 nights this year, next time we will stay for at least 3 nights.

Hotel did not have air conditioning nor a small fridge. We found our stay extremely hot as it was right in the middle of a very hot summer. However, the views from the balcony could not be surpassed.

Very friendly hotel with great views over lake Como however our room lacked air conditioning and the weather was hot.We'd certainly consider going again at a cooler time of year. P.S. The owner was a couple of class cars in the underground garage, worth a look if you like that

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Rusall, the location is beautiful, in my opinion one of the best spots on the lake, stunning views out over Bellagio and the surrounding mountains. Food is great, very friendly and welcoming hosts and simply the best spot to have a drink at the end of the day. Is a decent walk up the hill from the lake, about 30min, bring your walking shoes if you don't want to drive or taxi. Only negative was no air con in the rooms, was very humid during our stay, there is a fan and plenty of windows but not quite as good as air con. If you want a good place to base yourself to explore the best parts of the lake I definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rusall, even though it's a bit out of the way. You can't beat the view from the terrace, the rooms are clean and have all the necessities. We ate lunch and dinner a la carte when we were there and it was very good. The pool is nice, but only open from 9 am to 7 pm, which I thought was a bit limiting because I like to swim before breakfast. The Rusall is a family run hotel and they are very friendly and accommodating.
