Brooks Guesthouse Bristol

I booked a room from booking.com, when I arrived to hotel they said booking.com made a mistake and they said they don't have any rooms available. They offered me a caravan at the roof of the hotel. I checked caravan but it was 40C and caravan did not have air conditioning. It was like an oven and I did not agree to stay in a caravan. I booked a proper room. I wanted to cancel booking. They said they have nothing to do. They said I need to cancel through booking.com. I apllied for a free cancellation thourugh booking.com and they sent my e-mail to hotel which declined free cancellation. I felt myself like a pingpon ball between booking and the hotel. I could not stay at the hotel and needed to pay for another hotel. They did not cancel my booking and charged for the stay. It is really unfair. It is my worst ever travel experince.

Central location in the old section of Bristol. Shower pressure was good allowing for a decent shower. W Extremely quiet room as I heard nothing from any other rooms. Lovely outdoor courtyard

Mattress on the bed was very soft

Great location and the breakfast was excellent. Guesthouse generally lovely with nice courtyard and comfy lounge.

We stayed in the caravan which was very small and sound proofing was minimal, so very noisy at night. We would stay at Brooks again but not in the caravan.

Nothing it was great but the shower didn’t drain
