The Strand - A Boutique Resort

When we went in the suite the view was great, nice kitchen, tidy bedroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food from bar was good and free breakfast was good.

The humidity in the room was so high that the linens remained damp on the bedding the entire stay even though the air conditioning was working. The bathroom door was so small and we are both not large. The door had hair stuck to the bottom of the door because the veneer was peeling off the bottom of the door. The bathtub had hair in it also and the tub had been painted and the paint is peeling off. The linens are so bad in the plastic container. The blanket had stains all over it and the filling was non existing.

Breakfast was good .

There was only one elevator

The oceanfront was excellent. I enjoyed the view from my couch while I watched TV.

The pricing was a little high for days stayed. Friday night and Saturday night is understandable but a Sunday and Monday night was a little steep I think.

Las personas que atendieron al llegar. El hotel es viejo, está muy descuidado, el mantenimiento es muy pobre. El personal de limpieza mal humorada por haberle solicitado que me cambiaran las toallas y expresó que no tenían toallas de manos para surtir. El desayuno muy pobre. El hotel es costoso para tal mal servicio y sucio, descuidado, deben darle a la señora supervisora una clase de atención al cliente

Size of the pool

The room layout was great. Jenn was AMAZING and other staff were generally friendly. I didn't like the walk to take the kids to the water activities at the Breakers but was also glad we had this option since the hotel only had one small pool.

The lack of water activities at our hotel and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.
