The Strand - A Boutique Resort

Loud music played on balconies of other rooms past 10 pm. People were walking barefoot inside with wet bathing suits. Floors were wet and slippery. Rooms had mildewy smell. I was in lobby bathroom and man came in and was pounding on stall door looked like fight with his girlfriend. I told the front desk, man was in the ladies room. I couldn’t find parking in the oversize lot cause anyone parked there. I had to ask the front desk several times to make room in that lot.

2 cleaning ladies that took care of lobby mopping etc was always arguing about water could of been alittle more professional

The hotel was nicely located at a good spot for swimming at the beach. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great, and we appreciated the attention of the staff to maintain full serving trays and coffee pots. Balcony offered a nice view of the ocean; room, balcony and bathroom were sufficient, just each a bit smaller than we anticipated.

Great Staff. Brooklyn was a pleasure to check in and out with. The A/C filter in the room was clean and so was the entire room.
