"Good hotel. Junior staff need to be trained. Lots of large tour groups."

The property is large and very lovely. The room we had was the best we stayed at in Japan. The view isn’t the best but the room itself is luxurious and fully equipped. The onsens were amazing. The breakfast was really good and there were several dining options.

The attitude of some of the junior staff was terrible and shocking. My husband was slightly unwell and wanted a little bit of salt to gargle. One of the staff in the breakfast area told us we could take some from the restaurant. Suddenly one of the waitresses came and told him “salt is not free”. He asked how much it would be to purchase a spoon of salt. She then proceeded to call 5 colleagues to discuss if he could take a spoon of salt. Finally the manager came and apologised for the entire ordeal. We were left embarrassed by the whole situation. Inspite of the great stay we had this whole incident left us with a very negative feeling. The restaurants closed super early and required reservations which wasn’t always convenient.

"旧馆住宿很一般."

温泉很不错.工作人员很友善.

我应该是定到了老馆，房间又小又旧. 还有点霉味. 因为设施老，所以床头没有插座. 被子很厚，床又小睡觉的时候被子老往下坠，不太舒服. 早餐很一般.

Questo hotel é stato il migliore del nostro viaggio in giappone, stanza grande e servizi impeccabili, onsen da sogno, colazione abbondante e buona e offre anche servizi di ristorazione di alta qualità. La stanza ampia per gli standard generali, con possibilitá di scelta tra futon e letti che sono rifatti giornalmente. Accolgono anche i bambini a braccia aperte. Posizione vicino alla stazione con possibilità di usufruire del bus navetta.

Non é posizionato proprio nel centro di Takayama ma ci si arriva perfettamente a piedi in 10 minuti

"Very Good"

The hotel staff found and forwarded a lost item to us via Japan Post, which we greatly appreciated. The staff were highly professional throughout. The hotel was practical and exactly as advertised (we stayed in a room in the renovated wing). It’s also within walking distance of Takayama’s historic district. I loved the traditional Japanese kaiseki breakfast!

スタッフの対応が良かった。カードキーを部屋に閉じ込めてしまったのですが、すぐに作り直していただき、助かりました。 食事の説明もすごく丁寧でした。
