Hotel Bright

The hotel is extremely well located, very central and has good metro connections. The area can be quite rough for tourists and dirty if you want a clean environment select the suburbs rather than downtown. There are plenty of places to eat around. The entrance to the hotel is a bit weird but once in the hotel all fine, we felt safe and comfortable. The room was Clean and good bathroom for local standards. The noise from the street was not bothering. We had breakfast included and unfortunately the staff didn’t inform us for the first night so ask. The breakfast are good and nice variety.

It was very clean and tidy. The location of Connaught means you are close to everything; old and New Delhi, plus excellent trains links. This was 30 mins on a clean, very train.

What we wanted, it was perfect. Note; do not judge from the street location. Once you are up inside you will say “this looks very nice” also the staff were always very helpful.

First and foremost, the location of the hotel was disappointing. The hotel is not situated on the ground floor but rather on the first floor. The staircase leading up is narrow, and there is no elevator available, which means you have to carry your luggage up to the first floor on your own. The behavior of the staff was quite odd. As I was checking out, they approached me and said, "Sir, can we check the room before you leave?" I agreed, but honestly, it felt very uncomfortable. While it’s understandable that staff may need to inspect the room, this is typically done after the guest has checked out, not in such a direct and intrusive manner. The room rates were unreasonably high. and in my opinion, it was far from worth it considering the inconvenient location and the unprofessional staff behavior. The hotel advertises its location as being in Connaught Place (CP), but they fail to mention the lack of an elevator and that the property is on the first floor. Overall, I felt it was a waste of money. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are plenty of better options in Delhi within the same price range that offer superior service and amenities.

Staircase climbing with laugage and baggage was a real task. Risk of fall. Rude staff.

We stayed here gor one night. The location of the property is good. Right in the heart of the city. The room is clean but doesn't have any view from the window. The staff is very helpful and polite even the owner is very polite and nice.

Unfortunately, when we were on the property there was power failure and this pronlem continued for a long time. They did not have a generator also so a few good hours of our limited time were wasted. They did provide a power bank to charge our phones though. The pressure of water in the bathroom was also very low.
