Hotel Pacific Sunrise

I won't ever go back. No internet, the place was old and falling apart, food was horrible. The staff was nice and did give me great directions to an internet cafe so i could cancel the rest of my reservation.

The most expensive hotel in La Libertad, a bit off the city center. None of the hotel staff speaks English. There aren't too many other hotels listed on booking sites, but rest assured you'll find many if you go to the nearby Tunco Beach (surf hotels with beach access starting from $10 per night). I recommend this hotel only for business stays.

It wasn't what we expected. The photos and description had us thinking more of a resort-style hotel. But don't let that discourage you from staying here. This place was fantastic if you're looking to experience real El Salvador. It's on a beautiful beach surrounded by plenty of little bars and restaurants, we always felt safe walking around the town, beach and hotel grounds and the staff was very pleasant. Wouldn't hurt to learn a few Spanish phrases since no one spoke English, but we managed to get by. Bar only serves beer - no wine or liquor. Food is FABULOUS. Hotel rooms basic, but comfortable. Not a resort - but we're thrilled it wasn't! We felt like we visited El Salvador, not a resort in El Salvador. I'd come here again.

this is a good hotel for the price if you are looking for luxury you may want to look at other hotels. like i said cant beat for this price but on my next trip i will spend more on some other hotels

The personal are very nice, they try to help you in everything, they take care right away of anything that you don't like or anything that you need. Location is very convenience, we had restaurants, market, pharmacy, gifts stores, etc. Plus they had security, cameras etc. We really enjoy to be there.

It is a simple, low-cost hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff and management. There is no airport shuttle service (taxi: US$25 one-way). Site mentions rooms with flat-screen TVs but they are normal tube sets. Restaurant is now a conference room but the terrace bar serves food and drink at reasonable prices. Local beer is US$1.50/bottle. Beach sand is grey. My 2nd story room had a view of the parking lot and a couple of gas stations. Next time I will pay for a beach-side room.

We needed a hotel not to far from the airport and this hotel had what we were looking for...the beach, restaurants and just about 15mins from the airport. Good location and nice service from the hotel personnel.

The Pacific Sunrise is one of the best hotels in La Libertad and I love going there. Viewing the ocean with morning coffee and walking on the beach are a must do. THe hotel is affords a walk by the ocean without the noise and bother of others on the malecon
