The Burlington Holiday Apartments

Close to Maroochy Surf Club. Car park. Easy access to enter. Could check in a tad bit earlier as our room was ready. Just down the road from a great bakery (Rick's on 6th). You must head here for bakery items and a coffee!

Walk up (no lifts). U17 had no oven or microwave but had a convection oven only the microwave part was useless. The air conditioner wasn't on when we arrived and it was a 36 degree day. Consequently it took till the wee hours of the night for the unit to cool down. The master bedroom whilst almost opposite the AC unit was still warm and the second bedroom was hot. I don't know how the kids slept in it. The unit needs to be bigger or a second split system installed up the passage opposite the second bedroom to be efficient. It made for a very unpleasant night's sleep. Only one key provided and office not manned to obtain a second key.

Very impressed by the customer service & overall management of this property. Excellent location for the kids in very close proximity to the beach. Would stay there again.

We liked the size of our apartment, the pool and gardens, as well as the location.

Only that the ensuite bathroom would have been better with some towel hooks and an exhaust fan.

Nice room, well furnished & supplied with essintials (althoug a tissue box would be nice to have). Close to the beach, the beach has nice white sand, which is not the case for all of the SSC.

Construction works in the room above us continuing up to 3 am, and then resuming at 7 am. We had only 3 hours of sleep, and in response to our complains the owners didn't pause the works to let us get some sleep, didn't find another room, didn't offer a refund for inconvinience. Just basically told us we are being sensitive and get over it... just in more words. So we had to leave after 1 night out of 3 booked because my mom has a stent & high blood pressure and she urgently needed some rest and quiet...
