Fantastic place. Fantastic host’s. Lovely period guesthouse. Like travelling back in time. Great getaway for a quiet weekend walking in the countryside!

What a fabulous find. We booked last minute due to circumstances and so glad we waited. We arrived earlier than expected but we were welcomed with a cup of tea and homemade lemon drizzle cake . Tea and cake provided each afternoon in our return... delicious. Room was beautiful, we had the Rennie mackintosh theme room which was stunning, chose this as it had the slipper bath which for me was an absolute treat. Breakfast amazing and cooked fresh. Roger and Katiare great hosts , we we definitely return. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Lovely couple hosting the ardwyn house, cup of tea,coffee and homemade cake on arrival, very informative about the area,bedroom beautiful and so is the breakfast, we will recommend and we will be back

Roger was a fantastic host and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. The home is in an idyllic setting. The village is only a few steps away yet sheep are grazing in the pasture across the road. I loved this place! Roger and I had great conversation as well.

The host made a special effort to provide gluten free snacks and gluten free breakfast. The home made macaroons were to die for!

What a gem! This B & B was excellent. Great location with easy walk into the town. The hosts were amazing, cake on arrival, friendly but not intrusive. Good parking space. Comfortable bedroom ( and bed) with large bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide time window for it so we were not rushed.

Could not fault with this place, everything was spot on!

Excellent hospitality, cake and Tea on arrival. A beautiful b&b very traditional with lots of extras. Everything was perfect, highly recommend.
