Finca Luna Nueva Lodge

The farm-to-table food was incredible! The tours, trails and facilities were great! We saw so much interesting wildlife - many sloths, around 30 varieties of birds, agouti, and on the night tour - an anteater, many cool frogs, toads, insects etc.

Everything was amazing! The food was delicious, the grounds were incredible, the staff were exceptional, etc. We enjoyed the chocolate/cocoa experience in particular.

The entire property was gorgeous. We stay there with our three Grandchildren and it was magical. The food was incredible, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. The night tour was so worth it our guide was fabulous and so knowledgeable. Our Grandkids loved it all and wish we’d stayed longer.

It was a long drive and roads can be rough but once you get to Finca Luna it’s so worth it.

I loved their focus on sustainability: they grow their own vegetables, use what they grow, and use local ingredients for breakfast (like milk and cheese from their farm), and the dinner buffet was awesome. You don't find the variety of fresh vegetable dishes out in town, and we loved it so much that we ate there twice for dinner. We also enjoyed that it was in nature and there were some trails on the property. We didn't get to see it, but some people saw a sloth on the tree by the lobby!

We didn't get to stay in the bangalow since those were sold out, so we stayed in the basic room. The wall is very thin, so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The bed wasn't so comfortable, so that was another thing.
