A stunning place, thoughtfully built to showcase small scale sustainable farming. Gusts can relax, enjoy excellent food and drink, and cnnect with Costa Rica’s natural beauty, including beautiful birds and plants. It has an exquisite yoga pavillion.

The property is absolutely gorgeous, as are the facilities. The property is a fully-functioning sustainable farm in the middle of the rainforest, with comfortable accommodations, a lovely pool and pool-side restaurant and bar, and a gorgeous yoga pavilion. We stayed in Casa Luna, next to the beautiful lobby area, and it felt like waking up in a glamorous tree house in the rainforest canopy. The architectural details in the lobby and restaurant bar incorporate ginger roots, a nod to the property’s beginning as a ginger and turmeric farm. Everything we ate at the farm-to-table restaurant was fresh and flavorful, and the service was impeccable - they even surprised us with a birthday cake at dinner one evening for my friend’s 40th! And the on-site tours were fantastic - we thoroughly enjoyed our chocolate tasting tour, the rainforest mysteries night walk, and the bird-watching tour - as well as exploring the property on our own, from strolling through the farm to stretching in the yoga pavilion. This place is an oasis and I can’t wait to come back!

The only down-side to this property is its distance from La Fortuna and other attractions in the area, however our off-site tours included transportation, we were able to take Ubers, and the front desk staff assisted us in making arrangements. The property’s remoteness is also part of what makes it so special.

La literie est très mauvaise. L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très loin de Fortuna + 40 minutes en voiture. Ça ne vaut pas le tarif payé.

Die Anlage ist schön angelegt mit eigener Farm und Trails. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam; bei Fragen oder sonstigen Anliegen über WhatsApp gut erreichbar

Wir hatten ein Doppel-/Dreibettzimmer gebucht, welches mit Teppichboden ausgestattet war. Zum einen fanden wir dies recht unhygienisch, zum anderen war die Luft in dem Zimmer unangenehm muffig. Die Fenster ließen sich leider auch nur bedingt öffnen. Zudem sind die Zimmer extrem (!) hellhörig, sodass nahezu jedes Geräusch aus den Nachbarzimmern zu hören war. Auf der Anlage gibt es auch Bungalows, wahrscheinlich ist es dort besser und man hat auch etwas mehr Privatsphäre.

The staff, the location, everything was remarkable.

More vegetarian/pregnant friendly options for breakfast, but that was just a minor inconvenience.
