The White Horse Inn

The quiet location was great and the cleaners were excellent, didn’t expect a whole room clean the next day.

The guests next door smoked cannabis from the time we arrived to the time we left, all night it stank out our room and made me feel very sick in the morning. We could hear next door in the morning being actually sick, vomiting for over 20 minutes. It was very unpleasant.

Loved the pub, decorated for Christmas it was lovely. Staff were friendly and seemed to be working really hard. The food was great and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. The location was good for exploring other parts of the Cotswolds with a car.

Rooms are small and basic but adequate, maybe a tad overpriced for what you get in terms of comfort. Noise from other apartments, everything from taps running to beds squeaking. Private party in the pub meant loud booming music and drunk conversations outside our apartment until 3.30am - the pub was still post party when we went in to have our breakfast the next morning, litter on the floor, DJ decks still up. It was Christmas so you deal with it mentally so as not to ruin your weekend, however, we would have preferred to know in advance exactly how the party would affect our stay, and then made a choice whether to continue with the booking.

The pub is beautiful with a good restaurant. It looks like the newer rooms are lovely

The room above the pub is dated and room 11 has an illuminated pub sign outside the window and no black out blind so not great for sleeping.

The evening meal was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. The room was very comfortable and good value for money.

A flat or rooms above created some noise but that is unavoidable in a converted building.

Room, food and ambience good

Lack of hot water, no net curtains at front so curtains had to be closed in daylight, no blind at bathroom window with properties behind.

This is a lovely pub in it's own right, but the accommodation was really good too. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was lovely and cosy with good quality coffee and water, the breakfast was excellent too!

There is a car park but there is limited space, just have a plan b if you can't get in the car park

It was lovely to find a beautiful country pub, with open fires and dog friendly. No slot machines, no darts or pool tables absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent as were the staff.

If I was to have one minor beef it would be the bathroom. The baths need to be removed & a proper shower installed

The White Horse Pub is an authentic cotswolds pub with great unpretentious food and welcoming reception. I requested a pet free room and was upgraded to a larger room with several pet free weeks before me to make sure my allergies were kept in check which was really appreciated. Also my rescue after leaving my phone in the room on the morning of my departure was really fantastic. The staff went out of their way to look after me and as a solo traveller I cannot express my thanks enough.

I would have had breakfast if it had been available at the pub but dinner on both nights of my stay was excellent.
