Comfortable room, bed

Weak breakfast

Room was large & comfortable. Host was very pleasant and helpful.

At that price I expected a cooked breakfast. Also, there should be water provided in the room.

Although the location was quite a way from the city centre the bus service was excellent. I was able to walk there in about 45 minutes. Very quiet and pleasant setting. Not a lot of eateries in the vicinity if you want to eat locally. Plenty of guidance on how to get about. Room well equipped for the size of the space.

Private bathroom fine but has a short walk along corridor. Didn't encounter any other guests en route and the provision of a bath robe was very useful. A larger mug for the tea in the room would have been good.

The no 45 is a period property in lovely residential area in Newington. There were a lot of buses to city centre and future ahead nearby so it was easy to get around. The host was lovely and looked after me very well, even getting up to prepare breakfast for me when I had a very early start. My room was small but big enough for a solo traveller with plenty of storage. All was very clean and well looked after. The room had a private bathroom in the corridor which was ok for me. A robe was provided so it made those early morning trips to bathroom more comfortable.

The pictures of the room look very nice, but the actual room is quite old, and the bathroom is very small.

The staff is very well, and the breakfast is really disappointing, consisting only of cereal, a few slices of cheese and ham. The heating is not good, and the room gets very cold at night.
