No 45

The breakfast was fine and the dining area was very warm and friendly. Irene the owner looked after all the guests needs and was very informative of local the local area and the bus services to catch as required.

As I was a solo traveler, I had a single room. My bathroom was a few steps down the hallway and not en-suite and as an early riser I would have preferred my facilities in the same room. However it was no hardship for me and it was mine only with its own key.

No cooked breakfast

It was without a car a but out of the way and I found the public transport difficult to understand.

Location was convenient forcmy needs

Due to a drop in outside temps, yhe room was very chilly the first night. Second night the furnace was on.

the house itself is very nice and it is close to city centre which is very good

the breakfast could be better.

Good well maintained house..and nice owner was very cordial and gives lot of input on how to travel around Edinburgh.

No 45 is amazing accommodation. The house design is impressive, just like the spirit in Edinburg. Our room was big, tidy and warm. It was clean, which is important for us, because we are travelling with our 1 years old baby. The place is quiet and the location is great. It is 5 minutes from the bus station and 20 minutes max from the old town. My husband was very happy with the Continental breakfast (I am not a morning person, so I didn't have chance to try it). The hosting lady Irene was brilliant and helpfull with information about the city attractions, pubs, restaurants, tickets for events.
