Villa Lapas Jungle Village

We only spent one night at this hotel, but enjoyed every minute of it. Very relaxing and beautiful place. Excellent service throughout. Wonderful pool area in a lush setting. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the hotel's restaurant - great atmosphere too. Very nice place.

Absolutely magical stay at Hotel Santa Lucía Hacienda. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, elegant, and beautifully curated. The property is surrounded by lush nature, giving you that perfect sense of privacy and relaxation while still feeling very comfortable and well taken care of. The pool area is stunning—quiet, clean, and truly feels like a hidden paradise. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed, with details that make the experience feel special. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy a unique hacienda-style experience, I couldn’t recommend it more. I will definitely be back.

Have stayed here before several times and they have done and are continuing to do a lot of improvements. The entire staff from checking in , kitchen and wsit staff, grounds crew have all been very friendly and efficient. The grounds crew does a fantastic job of keeping the jungle and it's critters from literally taking over. There is a lot of wildlife to be seen just walking around and exploring the grounds. The food and beverages have all been very good. I'm staying in 1 of the 2 Tree House rooms and would higjly recommend choosing these rooms. Their balcony"s literally look over the Tarcolito stream and the jungle across the stream is alive with squaking Parrots and Macaws. Truly one of my favorite spots in Costa Rica.

No hot water The door had openings around it so it was possible for insects, reptiles to enter. Room142 Hot tubs were not hot and dirty

The grounds and village aesthetic were excellent, the river, the bridges, the overall connection with the jungle was fantastic. Staff were great too.

The food was way below par, the rooms were very sparse and the bed was uncomfortable.
