"Not worth it."

The bathroom was in poor shape. Duct tape on the door, plywood cabinet supporting the sink. It was definitely not worth the price I paid. I would have paid $40-50 to stay here, especially considering the fact that there was an advertised breakfast (the only reason I chose this place over others that cost $10 more) that didn’t actually exist. Coffee is not breakfast. 0/10 do not recommend…

"It worked for us as it was close to our family, but not sure we would stay there again."

The beds were ok and the room was clean. It was a quiet location with no noise to speak of. Nice comforters on the beds that were not too hot.

Paint was pealing on the outside in places and it looked shabby. Only coffee for "breakfast ". Bathroom was very small. The check-in person was nice but hard to understand her dialect. We thought it was overpriced at $135 . When I asked what a second night would be she quoted $139. I guess they don't want to sell more nights.

The area had experienced a significant snow storm yet the innkeeper went out of her way to reassure me that if the electricity was not restored I would get a full refund. The electricity went off because a tree had fallen over power lines, She also called me to inform me that the electricity had been restored. I arrived @ 10 pm but she accommodated my late arrival graciously

Nothing. It was what I expected for a one night comfortable stay away from imposing on others.

Complementary breakfast

We booked months ago through booking. We went on a hiking trip before checking in. On our way to this Inn I received a voicemail that booking.com didn't pay them with Virtual Credit Card and we need to return a call within 30 min otherwise they are gonna cancel my booking. This voicemail was sent hours ago but I didn't get it as I didn't have any network in the hiking area. When I got the message it was already 9 PM and we were on our way to the Inn. I called them as soon as I received the voicemail. They said booking.com didn't fully paid them and they have some kind of virtual credit card which bookings give to them against our bookings. I have no idea what they were talking about. As a customer I fully paid the whole amount months ago and it was non refundable. I asked them we can discuss the issue once we reach there. It was around 11 pm when we got there. They said the same thing and asking us to call booking.com about the virtual credit card. But as a customer I shouldn't have any idea what's that. I showed them the full confirmation email, the app where it's clearly showing that I paid with my credit card and the amount was successfully charged to my credit card. They didn't want to take any responsibility whatsoever. They were asking me to call booking and ask them why didn't they pay the Inn owner. They kept going back to the virtual credit card thing which I don't know anything about as a customer. They asked to cancel the reservation but it was non refundable. So I didn't. After more than 30 min talking with the manager, finally she decided to make call to the booking.com. And after a long waiting time and discussion it turned out that booking didn't pay them full amount and they were actually the one who should be contacting booking regarding this issue not the customer. They should not threaten the customer to cancel their reservation even though the customer already paid months ago.
