It was perfect and we had a real great time

We were made to feel very special. Sameh from the main pool bar was fantastic. We will definitely go back because of him. Food good, very clean. Our garden view room was a bit tired but it didn't distract from this fantastic hotel.

Our booking confirmation included our request for refurbished and adjacent rooms only The rooms were a shock! Not adjacent and most certainly not refurbished! Tatty old wooden furniture, small plastic bath with cheap sliding doors over - disgusting. Straight back to reception and demanded what we'd paid for. After waiting 5 minutes for the manager to be summoned not impressed to be asked 'What was the problem?' He'd obviously already been informed! After mutterings about being fully booked, not knowing of our request for refurbished rooms and the possibility of an extra cost upgrade I pointed out in no uncertain terms I did not want an upgrade, just what I'd paid for. Eventually shown a suite in another part of the hotel and advised they could put 2 beds in the lounge and a single beside the double in the bedroom. I refused and pointed out I'd paid for 2 rooms - one for myself and my wife and one for our children, each with their own bathroom. Returned to reception where after further discussion we were offered another 'suite' (Effectively 2 adjoining rooms) which we accepted. Manager advised this was more expensive but there'd be no charge. (It looked exactly what we'd booked to me!) Dining akin to motorway services - find a table then find someone to clear and set it. Dress requirements completely ignored. No seating control - a free for all. Observed people tasting from serving spoons Raised with guest services who thanked me and assured change. Nothing changed.

Nice hotel, food, staff and overall condition is good. I recommend it.

Stayed with my parents for 3 days and we really enjoyed our time at Sierra Sharm El Sheik hotel. Lovely hotel with extremely friendly and kind staff. Buffet was amazing with a great variety of food. I will definitely be staying again when I go back to Egypt. Rooms are clean and all staff really want you to enjoy your stay.

Great food, ideal place for people wanting to be relaxing by the pool/beach all day. Never too far away from a bar/restaurant! great nightlife in Soho Sq. would highly recommend!

Concierge takes your personal luggage as you arrive into a private room without giving you the reason why,spa sales people will chase you a little too much apart from that food is wonderful hotel comfortable and clean with the beautiful whether it seems like a paradise

My daughter and I wanted a week in the sun to relax. We would highly recommend the Sierra Hotel. We wanted a stress free holiday and that's what we got. The Sierra staff were great, friendly and helpful. The food was a bit samey but you could eat in Soho Square (two mins from the hotel) lots choice at discounted rates with plenty of shops and evening entertainment if that's what you want! We will be booking again for some winter sun and relaxation. Sheena Poole

The Sierra is the little sister to the Savoy, a much more luxurious resort on the Soho Square block. The Sierra, while not as grand as the Savoy, has many shared benefits like the same beach, same tour/rental groups as well as discounts at the Savoy for dinner. The Sierra is a great choice for someone looking to stay at a resort and enjoy a nice vacation, but not willing to shell out a ton of money for. The staff are very friendly, and the all inclusive package includes many fun offers like a game of bowling, hour of pool, show at Culturama in Soho Square, dinner discounts at multiple places in Soho Square, an hour at the spa/sauna/steam room, and a 15 minute massage. In addition to that, you get the free drinks of course. Having said that, the drinks are not amazing, but for unlimited free alcoholic beverages, they're not too shabby. There are a lot of Russia tourists there all throughout the year, so the Sharm is also a good place to practice your Russian if you're looking to. Overall, a good deal. Just watch out for the mosquitos.
