The hotel is nice. The rooms are good and the sauna is a nice touch with great views.

The hotel obviously has a contract with Viking cruises and they prioritise those guests above anyone else staying there. So much so that you cannot eat at the restaurant on a Sunday night (when everything outside is closed) because the cruise guests are catered for first. In my opinion they should have an earlier time frame or be catered for in a conference room. It took 25 mins to get a drink to take to the room and the staff were over run. We ended up with soggy burgers in the room from room service, costing short of £100 - Zurich is very expensive. On checking in it would have been nice to have a heads up re the over capacity dinner so we could make a plan for dinner - keeping in mind the hotel is a decent distance from the main city centre. Also I requested a room with two beds and as walk in shower but on arrival that hadn’t been allocated. Think there needs to be some attention to detail and a reminder there are other guests to those on the cruise.
