Wentworth Hotel

The room allocated on booking.com (as always) wasn't the best choice (small and on 4th floor) but the hotel offered us a better room , same price on ground floor with sea view with a freshly refurbed bathroom. We really liked the traditional elements of the hotel: full breakfast served at the table, lots of comfortable sofas in the lounges, friendly staff always on hand - we've tried most of the hotel accommodation in and around Aldeburgh and this is our favourite

A beautiful hotel and the seafront right outside the front door. A very extensive breakfast menu and plenty of options for all tastes. The same can be said for dinner and the standard of food exceptional. With regards to staff I have nothing but admiration for them. You were made to feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were kind, considerate and very friendly and certainly made our stay a very relaxing one. There’s so much more of a positive nature I could tell you about, but go there yourself and experience what my wife and I shared. Lastly, the town and resort of Aldeburgh is typically and quintessentially English, with a high street of many cafes and small independent retailers. I think I’ll be back. Thank you all at the Wentworth Hotel.

Another extremely enjoyable stay. The food was excellent, the staff are efficient but personable and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The sea view rooms are lovely and comfortable with uninterrupted views over the pebble beach and sea.

Thanks again for father's birthday meal. The arrangements were handled seamlessly as we expected from past experience. We will visit again soon later in May and no doubt will be more than satisfied again. Excellent as usual.

Another great stay at the Wentworth. Very welcoming with great communal areas and fabulous food. A very enjoyable stay.
