Wentworth Hotel

Another wonderful stay at this iconic hotel. We may be amongst the youngest there (ha ha) but the hotel is pretty faultless. It’s always perfectly clean, friendly and helpful staff and the food is great. This was about our sixth stay and we will keep going back as long as it stays as it is. Don’t want to say too much and make it too popular, otherwise, I might not get booked in!

Perfect selection on menu. Sea view made breakfast very special.

As I have a mobility problem would have liked the hotel to have a lift.

The hotel was charming as were the staff . It is very dog friendly and Rufus also gave it five stars . The evening meal was surprisingly good with varied menus . We had a large bedroom with a small bt comfy sitting room overlooking the sea . We had breakfast onthe terrace and nothing was too much trouble .zThe only downside was that the gulls pooped on my newly cleaned car but hey we were at the seaside!,

The photograph of the room when I booked made the room look much bigger than it actually was and also a different room.

Location was great. Comfortable, very clean room with lots of storage. Needed the electric fan supplied. Good quality toiletries in bathroom. Liked you could turn on shower with button at sink before you got in. Tasty sausage at breakfast. Log burner in bar in evening was great as got chilly.

Didnt need to change the towels every day, which they did. Thought bit wasteful. Evening bar man seemed bit miserable & needs some customer service training. Cooked breakfast bit average. 2 of our poached eggs were over & under done.
