"cozy inn convenient to Kruger Park"

We stayed one night at the Rissington Inn in one of their villas. It has a lovely and large ground with pool. We also enjoyed dinner at their restaurant. The inn actually is about 1km off of R40 down an unpaved road, so it is very quiet.

This place is beautiful, staff extremely pleasant and helpful, food great (breakfast quality and quantity out of this world), fantastic value for money. Staff address you by name! Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

"Nice place but no water and electricity"

The overall experience was bad because we had no water and electricity including generator were out initially. Electricity and AC returned 2 am only. We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good !

"Strange but lovely"

The room was huge and very comfortable with big windows, air conditioning!, a private balcony, little sitting area with magazines and great views over the gardens and pool. You can't beat the physical space... but the ambiance is, well, odd. It took three people to check us in painstakingly slowly although we did have complimentary juice to enjoy during the process. In the room there is an extensive rule book and the prohibitions include everything from tolerating the neighbors' cats to not chewing gum on the premises to no children in the dining room past 6:30. The staff moves in slow motion whether they are showing you to your room or taking your order in the dining room but on the plus side they are not chewing gum. I probably would not stay here again just out of the fear of running into the eccentric owner.
