GE-Attentive & hospitable host who allowed us to check in early (this helped a lot as we were with a baby and slept poorly on the night train to Sicily) -Wide room with a nice wide terrace that has a view of Mt Etna -Excellent breakfast -5 min. walk to the beach (which had both free & paid areas); 10-15 min. (800m) walk to the nearest Interbus stop (either on the highway or Viale Dioniso) to Taormina or Catania
-The double bed was 2 single beds combined and the gap can sometimes be felt while sleeping
