Beach Breakers Resort

The location is great, and the resort has good potential. The staff was friendly and check in and check out very easy, even outside working hours.

Each unit appears to be different. We stayed in Unit 21, which is in need of significant upgrading. We ended our stay one night early as the mattress was no longer supportive and caused us back discomfort. The labels on the mattresses indicate they were manufactured in 2013 and are clearly due for replacement. The same applies to the couch. While the unit looks clean at first glance, a closer inspection reveals that it requires a thorough deep clean. We noticed mould and grease buildup in several areas, which detracted from the overall comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation.

Great location and we loved the 1960s motel vibe. Nice pool and close to the beach and a cool cafe nearby. Great having covered car park to keep cars out of the sun. The apartment was very clean but it was looking a bit tired. Friendly helpful staff.

It feels like none of the rooms have been redecorated since they were built in the 60/70's ? Just looking tired and I am sure they could increase the prices a bit to pay for the refurb.

Location was close to the beach The area was pretty quiet and green Pool and jacuzzi was pretty good

The unit was dusty . Furniture was old and beds were not comfortable. Internet was down.

The staff were friendly and helpful, lovely location, with excellent BBQ in pool area. A quick stroll across the road from a beautiful beach. The apartment inside was clean. The beds were comfortable, plenty of pots and pans for cooking, also crockery and utensils. A huge TV which was great and a laundry with washer and dryer.

These apartments are privately owned and we stayed in Unit 2. *The microwave was a disgrace, we were told that it was to be replaced as it was rusting out inside. My opinion is....it should of already been removed, better to not have one there instead of seeing the condition it was in and not be able to use it anyway. *Although the TV was great you are limited on choice of programs. Although you are able to stream from your own devices, what a rigmarole having to go through setting it up each time, especially if it's the older generation! The two lounges, although looking good, could of been more comfortable. We had to put cushions under the lounge seats as they are sinking and uncomfortable. *The door tracks, front and back, were very dirty and out the back where you access the laundry and second toilet was absolutely filthy. The concrete where the clothesline is was covered in bird droppings, the clothesline was dirty and the pegs were rusting.The laundry/toilet floors were also dirty.

Location was good, right near the beach.

If you want basic, average accomodation, this apartment is for you! If you want to watch paint peel off the walls and have darts of light coming through the holes in the curtains, you've come to the right place. There was also a fabulous aroma in the apartment on arrival, which I traced to a baking tray in the oven full of fat. Then we discovered unwashed plates etc. in the cupboard - clearly had not been washed or checked by cleaners prior to next guests arriving (us). We had to wash everything! We had to clean the bathroom exhaust fan to allow it to operate correctly as well. The front glass sliding door could not be locked, only the screen doors locked. The whole unit is dated and the kitchen is not set up well if you plan to cook (no overhead exhaust for stove). A set of tongs might be handy if you wish to use the BBQ area. Facility needs a lot of TLC.
