Aparthotel Niu d´Aus

Have stayed at Niu D'Aus before but not for about 9 years. Staff extremely helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Pool very clean but not really suitable for poor swimmers as becomes quite deep very quickly. Good location in a very quiet area.

Great location if you like to be away from the more built up areas of the island. It is situated in a nice residential area. You need to be prepared for a bit of walking to reach any shops or restaurants but it's a very pretty walk into Portopetro. Some might prefer to hire a car. Nice pool which was never busy.

It was necessary to buy bottled water, even for tea/coffee and cooking because it tasted very bad out of the tap in that area. This isn't a criticism of the hotel of course, but useful to know in advance if you're staying there.

The noise. Paper thin walls. Could hear absolutely everything. Seemed like the guest on the floors above spent their entire time stomping and moving furniture. Didn’t sleep for 3 nights basically.

Highly Overated 3-star，the price is extremely high compare the service and experience，the photos on Booking are photoshoped，could not compare with my other stay in a 2-star： its offered SEA/SALT water from the water tube，which could not get our swim suits cleaned and cooking，my 2-star stay even offered freshwater； NO shampoo and shower gel offered；Not 24-hour reception while beach towel they asked 5 Eur per towel， so you could not find them when you check out；Room were NOT CLEANED during our 4-night stay including making the bed；and we have to throw our trash OURSELVES to 100meter central trash bin，then why should we choose a hotel and pay this price？Facility are extremely old and no soundproofing，we heard the noise from every angle of the room made by neighbors （no intention）；parking slots are not enough，the owner asked us parking on street；NO quilt/blamket offered as they only have sheet on bed， so you could not get low tempurature of the AC and they save electricity，then you feel hot whole night and could not sleep well：（

Balcony spacious, pool refreshing, very clean and tidy, parking spacious and secure. New towels provided daily.

Air conditioning poor, hot then cold, as a result very poor sleep. It is a drive away from shops and restaurants. Limited facilities on premises. Kitchen facilities limited, could not really cook much. Apartment fir 3 but use of a hard, framed couch with slender mattress, not much space left. Apartment dated.

Generally nothing at that place (city and region). The rest of Mallorca is beautiful.

Generally whole that region is very strange, so my suggestion is to stay away from that whole region of Portopetro and Cala D'or. Pictures on booking are real, but when you feel the vibe of the people then you won't feel good. The staff and owners were looking all the time where we are, and waited us in front the apartment at 9:55 to go out, because check out is 10:00. For example, that is the only region in Mallorca where is not accepted payment by card for less than 5 EUR, and on the other hand the owners of this apartment doesn't allow payment of accommodation in cash with bills bigger than 50 EUR (at booking was stated that they accept payment in cash).
