The facilities of this hotel are broken and dirty: jacuzzi, pool, pool bar and sauna. Thus, the pictures advertised are not current and inaccurate. We have complained about it on arrival day and everyday after, which we have documented in writing and have pictures everyday to substantiate. The hotel manager told us to write her the email once again at the end of our stay. Only to replied that she has not heard any complaints and have offered us alternatives when we were at the hotel. This is 100% untruthful. Not maintaining your hotel is one thing, lying about it afterwards and hiding facts are another. Stay away from such unethical business.

Heating system not turned on in our room, we froze the first night (in the Middle of the desert). Out of water supply one day. Couldnt take a shower for some time. There seems to be opportunity to have tighter protocols around basic admin procedures.

Great location, close to Main Street and access to many restaurants and service Rooms were clean and comfortable Highly recommended Free breakfast happy hour and other amenities included Would stay here again and would recommend to friends

Our trip organiser booked us into this ‘luxury’ hotel so not sure how much they paid per night, but it was advertised on the desk as over $300 a night. Luxury, it is not. My husband says basic. I say shabby. There aren’t any comfortable places to sit, neither in the room nor reception. There are sofas in reception and a small lounge area but they’re quite hard and pretty unwelcoming when you’ve been out all day in the desert. Our room, 21, overlooks 2 masts. There’s paint peeling and skirting boards with damage. Shower plug is missing. No usable power points at one side of the bed. The walls in the room and public areas are dirty and I wouldn’t have stepped in the pool for the same reason. There’s a laminated message sternly telling you you’ll be charged for any marks on towels. And having used the coffee machine this morning we came back to a card saying that was our quota - one coffee capsule per guest per stay. We’re here three nights! The bed is ok, although not well made so the bottom sheet got entangled during the night. The sheets are too small for the bed. There was a strange hum all night, maybe our, or the room next doors fridge. No air con. Breakfast ok but nothing special. We asked about upgrading our room, and they couldn’t check because the towns internet was down. But nobody came back to us about it. No one showed us around eg where the breakfast room is. No one to help take luggage to or from the room. I’m not sure whose definition of luxury they’re using, but it ain’t mine. Good points - It’s well located in San Pedro, three blocks from the main drag. Women and Swedish guy on reception were friendly.

Whatever you do, do not stay in this hotel. It will ruin your entire trip to the Atacama. The hotel looks nice, but it is definitely not worth the price. The worst part is the beds are horrific - and I do mean horrific. I could not sleep all night. The beds are hard and lumpy. I just spoke with another hotel guest and she said that she and her husband had to miss their tour because they also could not sleep on the bed. The vet was so bad that I was in physical pain lying on it.. The hotel charges very high prices. I am paying $310 a night. It claims it is a luxury hotel but the only thing luxury about it is the price per night. Additionally, the water in the bathroom sink barely comes out of the faucet.. This hotel does not have an air conditioner so definitely do not go anywhere near it in warm months.. This hotel will ruin your stay. It has truly destroyed my vacation here.

The warm welcome, no hassle early check in (especially welcome after a long haul flight), beautiful room, great breakfast and complementary soft drinks from 4 in the courtyard garden.
