"Worst hotel in New Zealand"

This was the worst hotel we stayed in during our time in New Zealand. Our first room was very poor quality - everything old and worn out. There was mold on the ceiling above the spa tub and it was gross, and paint was peeling from the ceiling in the bedroom. I do not know how this hotel has the ratings it has. The management was kind and moved us to another room, but it was still run down and not it the best shape. Don't believe the look of the website or the pictures. Be careful who you book with.

"Simple, pleasant motel"

Really nice motel, quite simple style, pretty quiet. The kitchenette only has a microwave but we planned accordingly and there were all the utensils and implements we needed to cook for ourselves. And marvellous huge spa bath! The host was incredibly attentive and helpful.
