Sapphire Garden Townhouses

Good location. The 3 bedroom is a nice size. Needs a little updating, as furnishings fairly cheap. Not all of the lights worked. Bulbs missing in some, switches missing for others. Staff were friendly.

We stayed at Sapphire Gardens Dec 2011- Jan 2012, in the 3 bedroom town home. It was much larger than expected. It was very well equipped (namely the kitchen) and the AC worked GREAT! We really enjoyed our stay. There were 9 of us (3 couples and 3 children). The location was great. We could walk to the market ~ a mile away. The beach was across the street and Thompson Car Rental is right next door.

Good Day All, I've had the pleasure staying at Sapphire Garden Townhouses and it was better than i expected. I stayed in 3 bedroom 2 bath that were large in size all equipped with TV's and the king size bedroom with his and her washing bowls and an outdoor patio to look out of....i mean the colors were warm and friendly the couches in the living room were so comfy felt like i was sleeping on a cloud......did i mention the kitchen was huge that had can opener, microwave, stove, toaster, stainless fridge, washer n dryer, wow everything you would have at home was provided for you even more.......the house had central air and outside a few lounge chairs also an outdoor shade chair and dining set to enjoy a nice family barbecue. One a place to stay that's inexpensive give them a call this is your one stop deal, because they have rental cars for you and the family and its in the same complex....what more do you want than that....great deals, convenience great location and service.

this was the cheapest deal we could find in georgetown and it's great! it's very clean an equiped with everything you need! it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms a living room and a big kitchen. nice veranda and is close to jolly beach witch is very nice! i would definately come again!

On our recent trip to Exuma, we looked for an inexpensive place to stay and this was it. We were hesitant to book Sapphire because there had been no recent reviews that we could find. I called the Kim, who is the manager and she put my mind at ease. Kim and Keith took care of us from then on. We had a two bedroom townhouse for $135 per night. There is a living room, dining area, kitchen, and laundry equipment downstairs, and the two bedrooms and two baths are upstairs. The balcony upstairs had a great view. The unit is very spacious! The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, utensils, and even spices. All the kitchen appliances worked perfectly. It is within 5-10 minutes walk from Jolly Hall Beach, which was fantastic! The townhouse was clean and quiet. It had complimentary wifi that was fast, although it did not work well upstairs. The staff will drive you the mile into Georgetown to get groceries and they also gave us a lift to the dock for the Stocking Island shuttle. Thompson car rental is onsite if you need a car. There are a few restaurants within walking distance and you can also walk to some small food and bar shacks down the road by the rusting boats. We did not have any issues with insects in the unit, however, there are some wasp nests on the balcony. They did not bother us though. This was a great place to stay and I can tell you that this will be the only place we will ever stay on Exuma!

We stayed at the Sapphire Garden Townhouses for 9 days in November, 2008 and would definitely recommend them. They are clean, modern, new and beautifully furnished. Some of the amenities we enjoyed were plenty of hot water, ice maker, central air, washer and dryer, personal parking spot, cable tv, king bed, and beautiful views of Stocking Island from the balcony. The location cannot be beat (walking distance to a few restaurants) and a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Georgetown. The proprietor Kim Thompson and her husband were delightful and very helpful. They also own Thompson's Car Rentals conveniently located right next door. I would also like to add we felt that the townhouse was priced extremely well and is most certainly one of the best values in Great Exuma. Enjoy!
