Hotel M Chiang Mai

The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the action. Everything’s happening around you, which is brilliant if you’re here to soak it all in. Now, fair warning: being this close to the buzz does mean it’s not exactly monastery-quiet at night. But let’s be honest — you didn’t come on holiday for an early bedtime. You came for the atmosphere, the energy, the stories. So embrace it, lean into the noise, and remind yourself you can sleep when you’re home.

The bed was on the… let’s call it “enthusiastically firm” side. If you’re a memory foam devotee who enjoys that cloud-like, sink-in feeling, this might come as a bit of a shock. It’s less “sleeping on a marshmallow” and more “excellent posture training with optional pillow.”

Excelente ubicación, desayuno muy completo, habitaciones limpias y camas muy cómodas. No es la primera vez que nos hospedamos en éste hotel y cuándo volvamos a Chiang Mai sin duda repetiremos.

The soundproof is not good. Can hear next door noise. Bed is too hard for me.

Large room, comfy mattress and bedding, good A/C, enclosed hot shower, fridge, electric kettle. Free breakfast until 10 am but I always missed it. Nice pool that I never used. Located at Tha Phae Gate inside the old city square. Great staff and service. A legit good hotel and room.

A modern, well priced hotel in an excellent location between the city centre and the night market, but not noisy. Room comfortable, good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool, alas.
