Pointe Plaza Hotel

The furnishings were working class, yet well maintained, clean and serviceable. Attention to detail was clear, to this traveler, in that someone had taken the time to properly set the clock on the microwave. This room had a kitchenette including substantial counter, cubberds, two sinks, two burner hot plate, small refrigerator, and the mentioned microwave. There was someone on the desk at all times and the staff is attentive, but not intrusive.

Food. This is not strictly owing to the hotel. A moderate breakfast offering was provided from Sunday to Friday morning. The offering is bagels, with appropriate condiments, and some drinks. Not much variety. There is no restaurant attached to the hotel; and would not be the cure. The difficulty is Friday evening to Saturday evening. This community is home to a religious group. There is no problem with the inhabitants whatsoever. The problem is, for the traveler, there is little or no food available locally at any time but especially during times for religious obligation. Bring it with you or go forage outside the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Public transport is plentiful as is the usual for hire vehicles one finds in any established metro.

24 hour desk was nice, our room was quietly, easy to get around from the location. Let us leave bags when we explored

The staff was wonderful, both the gentleman on duty late afternoon when we checked in and the lady the next morning. Efficient and friendly.

The staff wasn’t that friendly and attentive towards the guests.

We kregen een upgrade naar een ruimere kamer met kitchenette, kamers goed schoon, vriendelijke receptie

Si bien es entendible por el precio el tipo de alojamiento, podrían dar algunos avisos antes de hacer las reservas y no después. El desayuno dejó muchisimo que desear: no habia variedad, yogurt u otros tipos de opciones. La cocinera el primer día que bajamos nos dijo, literal, que una persona se había muerto en una de las sillas del comedor por comer algún producto que nos estaban dando. Tampoco avisan que el desayuno se sirve de domingos a viernes. Las personas que nos atendieron, salvo el muchacho de la noche, fueron bastante indiferentes todo el tiempo y estaban constantemente con el teléfono. Sumado a esto, el día que nos estabamos yendo se rompió el ascensir lo y tuvimos que bajar maletas 5 pisos.

Nothing , very hard to find. Hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Quite a dump. Reception is all shielded with a grumpy member of staff behind it. When we got outside to try and find parking my son had been threatened, we were not welcome in the area

It’s a complete dump in a scruffy , unwelcoming part of NY. Being threatened outside made us leave the area without even booking in. The hotel refused to refund monies. Avoid avoid avoid
