Maikhao Dream Villa Resort and Spa, Maikhao Phuket

The villas were spacious, beautiful and comfortable. Bed was perfect, not too soft and not hard. Staff lovely, helpful. Beach clean and quiet. We wanted quiet, we did not want to be anywhere near crowded places, and Mai Khao Beach is exactly this.

Maikhao Dream is very near to airport, it's only 15-20min. As our flight was late, We arrived at the villa pretty late, around 9pm, but we were still greeted by their friendly and helpful receptionist. Our return flight was early. We still have time to have our breakfast at 6.30am. The villa is a little old but facilities are still in good condition. We booked a 2 bedroom villa but were give a 3 bedroom villa with humongous bedrooms, living room and toilets, for my family of 5 with the 3rd room locked. They were generous with complimentary drinking water too. There is a deep pool with abt 1.7m and 1.2m deep pool at the 2nd storey. My boys enjoyed the facilities a lot. Pool and jacuzzi are just in front of the master room so can easily watch my kids playing. The resort is in front of Maikhao beach, it's quiet and very private. But no water sports. Morning waves is quite big. It has a nice view of sunset. Breakfast was pretty decent. We had 3 days of breakfast there and the staples were always different, the rest were pretty much the same. Overall, no complaints. In front of the breakfast dining hall, there's a main pool too. Parents can enjoy their breakfast while the kids are playing at the pool.

The place, staff, beach, cleanness and facilities were just perfect.

I couldn’t stay there forever.

I mean the villas for that price and beach access was great. Only issue would be they may need to do some maintenance around the property - for example our door was difficult opening & closing due to a part of the wood getting stuck. Location is truly For those who want to be in their own bubble everything else is about 20-30 mins from resort. Staff was incredible but felt bad that they were short staffed possibly due to the time of season we were there?

We had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend Dream Villa to anyone seeking a relaxed and calming holiday experience on the beach.

Spacious pool villa on the beachfront. We only heard breaking waves and birds. Blissfully relaxing...

Nothing to fault.

Spacious and decent location. Staff were nice and attentive. Villa was quite spacious . Food was ok but small selection. Breakfast was decent.

Over priced. 10 years ago perhaps worth the money. 10% service charge on everything which is already way over priced from food to spa . Maintenance and upkeep not where it should be across the property. Food was good but very little variety. Kids club isn’t a kids club it’s a play area.
