Maikhao Dream Villa Resort and Spa, Maikhao Phuket

For me personally it was a great place to unwind and totally relax! The beach is a dream with incredible sun sets every day! There weren’t many people around so it was perfect; quiet and peaceful. The villas are gorgeous! With their own swimming pool and jacuzzi. Highly recommended!

Was very, very bad

Everything doesn’t work well the bathroom the doors, air conditionan and the floor it’s bad and very dangerous. All is bad.

Superb pool villa right on the beach with fantastic staff and service levels. A truly amazing find in a great spot on Phuket close to the airport.

Excellent Service and Great Place to stay. The villa is right infront of the beach. Amazing and quiet beach compared to Patong or even kata beach. For families that like to unwind to get the peaceful vibe of the hotel. Spending qualty time with your love ones, this is the place to go.

The grounds are beautiful. The beachfront pool villa is fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beach is very quiet and clean. Great location for a couple of days before flying since it’s near the airport. Wish we had stayed one more night.

The food menu is limited and since it’s secluded, there aren’t many options around. Some of the doors in the villa were not working properly, and for the cost, it should be maintained better.

We arrived with high expectations and the 3-bedroom villa was lovely and very large, however, they gave us a terrible room next to the main hotel with air conditioning units chugging away in our pool courtyard and spoiling the peace. We complained and were moved the next day. The sea wasn't really visible from the hotel, but the sea was. We were looking forward to swimming, but the sea was very rough and red flags prohibiting anyone from getting in. One of the days we went for a walk on the beach we found nothing but plastic rubbish! It was truly shocking! This hotel is in they middle of nowhere - so not good for teenagers who want to go out in the evening. There was a 7-Eleven and pharmacy nearby, but very little else, so you have no choice but to eat at the hotel. We ended up going out every day and spent most of our time away from the hotel, which cost quite a bit in taxi fares. We would spend one hour driving to Patong or Kamala beach, which we loved, and 1+ hours coming back. So there was a lot of driving done to get to any places of interest. Sadly there was only 1 restaurant, so by the end of our stay we were bored with the menu. Although the staff were lovely and tried their very best they do need more training and the food was very mediocre. Sometimes the language barrier meant you didn't get what your expected from room service - more so when asking for non-Thai food. Be careful what you consume in the rooms as the cost of everything is high compared to outside the hotel. They put Evian water in all the bottles in all the bathrooms and each one cost nearly THB300! Going at this time of year was not a good idea, as we had quite a bit of rain and it was very windy too. If we come back it will be to a different part of Phuket and a different time of year.

It really added comfort and coziness to my stay. Luxurious villa with two swimming pools is simply amazing. I could enjoy a relaxing swim and relax on the terrace with stunning views of the surrounding nature. For me it was real heaven on earth. The breakfasts provided in your restaurant are surprisingly tasty and varied. I enjoyed every morning the varied dishes served with great care and attention to detail. It really lifted my spirits for the whole day. Your hotel also offers a variety of activities and services and I found the location to be ideal for both romantic getaways and family holidays. Necessary metrics such as cleanliness, comfort and safety were at the highest level, which created a trusting atmosphere for guests. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all your staff for their diligence, professionalism and care. Your team truly makes your hotel special and unique. For future travelers, I would recommend booking a villa with two pools - it is an absolutely incredible experience. Also don't forget to enjoy the breakfasts at the hotel restaurant - they are truly worth it. And, of course, do not miss the opportunity to explore the beauty of Phuket, where your hotel is located.
