we enjoyed our whole stay . special thanks to Jose ( front desk ) who organised an upgraded room for us , as my wife found it difficult to sleep in our original room due to noise levels .

"An Oasis of Calm & Relaxation on Gran Canaria"

For me, Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at: The whole resort radiates calm and relaxation - nice rooms (with fresh fruits every day and plenty of water included), a well-equipped gym and two enjoyable pools, comfortable sun-beds etc. Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia particularly excels in the area of staff/people and cuisine: Really every member of the staff was so kind, helpful and polite as well as service- and customer-oriented: This is special and fabulous! When it comes to cuisine it is exceptional what Wolfgang Grobauer and his team prepare, cook and serve. I have attached some delicious food pics. I will definitely stay at Seaside Grand Hotel Residencia again!

I am a coffee aficionado - so I was missing a barista made cappuccino with the typical cappuccino foam. But I found this was a shortage in Gran Canaria (IMHO) in general.

The breakfast was truly wonderful with an amazing selection of fresh fruits, yoghurts, juices as well as eggs, bacon and omelettes, selection of breads, pastries etc. We loved everything about it.

"A lovely hotel made almost perfect by wonderful staff."

The efficiency and friendliness of staff are the stand out factor of this excellent hotel. However the overall ambiance is superb and there is very little negative.

Very little; possibly a little more structure to being directed to tables upon arrival at the restaurant. However this is a very small issue.

The breakfasts (and the two evening meals) were fabulous. The outside areas were meticulously well kept. All the staff were amazing - friendly, efficient and any requests were dealt with immediately. Also - if you are looking for a private tour of the island you should contact reception and ask for Marc Llorens (we had a great tour up through the mountains).

A very minor point and it was resolved very quickly - I found the pillows were too soft for me. A quick call to Reception and new memory foam pillows were provided in minutes...Thanks!
